Speaking at a Nashville Health Care Council briefing, Thompson said the $1.8 billion HHS collects from this program currently goes toward the Department of Justice. Instead, it should be fed into a capital account for implementing health care technology.
"What better way to take away from bad actors and give to good actors?" Thompson said.
