Research In Motion (RIM) has produced a beta release of the BlackBerry Analytics Service.

Research In Motion has announced that the free BlackBerry Analytics Service is now available to developers in beta.

Developers can download the BlackBerry Analytics SDK at www.blackberry.com/developers/analyticsservice and start integrating the service into their Java-based BlackBerry smartphone applications.

The BlackBerry Analytics Service consists of the SDK, developer documents and a Web-based reporting interface that allows developers to log in and quickly and easily see the data they are collecting around their applications.

The BlackBerry Analytics Service is powered by Webtrends and allows BlackBerry developers to simply integrate tracking into their applications with just a few lines of code and capture detailed, anonymous information about how their applications are being used.
