Verizon's iPhone 4: Five Quick Facts
It's time for IT to brace for impact: Verizon Wireless has, at long last, announced that it will offer the iPhone 4 to its approximately 93 million U.S. subscribers -- and potentially many more new customers. Chances are, some of these potential iPhone converts already work for you, and once they get their hands on the device they'll be clamoring to connect to corporate email and other applications.
The Verizon iPhone 4 -- which has been the subject of speculation in the tech world since 2007 -- was at long last announced at a press event in New York City on Jan. 11. Verizon's deal with Apple is a multi-year, non-exclusive arrangement, which means that Sprint could also be in the running to offer the device on its CDMA network.
