Nearly one-third of small and midsize businesses last year made security a top goal of emerging technology deployments; this year, it’s only a quarter. This shows increased confidence in security plans. IT and non-IT are well-aligned when it comes to emerging technologies overall, which may be why nearly half of SMBs spend 10 percent or more of their budgets in this area.
