When Jonathan Ive, Apple's SVP of Industrial Design, was knighted in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London by Princess Anne on May 23, he hinted at more great things to come from the company that brought us the iPhone and iPad. There's no denying Apple is on a tear. Apple posted a 94 percent increase in net profit in Q2 2012 over the same period a year ago, reaching $116 billion. Consistently offering up new, well-designed products that capture the hearts and minds of consumers and enterprise users is well known as one of the company's strong suits. With the death last year of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Apple product releases are being closely watched and the company needs to keep up its pace of innovation. Companies such as Samsung and Amazon are closing in fast, and the time has come for Apple to take another leap forward and show the world why it's still the top hardware designer in the world. Here are 10 products we'd like to see from Apple in the next 12 months.
