There was a time when just about every IT decision maker looked at Apple as the tech company that would kill their career if they so much as considered bringing the company's products into the office. In recent years, enterprise attitudes towards Apple and its products have changed dramatically. It seems each month, we're pelted with news of more and more companies deploying Macs across the office. With each new iPhone launch, we're told that the smartphone will become a favorite among corporate users. A recent study from research firm ChangeWave Research supports that premise, finding that Apple's iPad is the most popular tablet choice for enterprise users. The company polled 1,604 U.S. business IT buyers in February 2012 to discuss their tablet purchasing roadmap. More than one fifth (22 percent) of respondents said they plan on purchasing tablets for their employees in 2Q 2012. Here's what else the survey reveals about Apple iPad and other tablets in the enterprise.
