Code Red's High-Speed Spread

0105 Internet Chernobyl?

On July 19, 2001, the first Code Red software worm spreads through certain Microsoft-engineered systems world-wide in less than 24 hours, turning some 341,015 business servers into electronic weapons aimed at Internet traffic and the White House Web site.
