Momentum is growing: 50% of organizations that currently lack long-term strategic initiatives reducing their environmental impact plan to have them within 2 years.

Question: When does your organization plan to create a long-term plan/strategy targeted at reducing its overall environmental footprint?

 Though 38% indicated that their organization has a plan to reduce its IT infrastructure's environmental footprint, results differed by region: 57% of European organizations had one, compared with just 37% in the US.

The use of renewable energy to support IT infrastructure was the least considered green option, due in part to associated cost and uncertainty.
