When was the last time you spoke with your company's Chief Legal Officer (CLO)? Did you even know there was one? A survey of 70 CLOs conducted by research firm Gartner reveals that the CIO's relationship with the CLO goes a long way toward having a positive impact on company operations. If you're among those CIOs who don't communicate with their CLO or chief legal counsel, you're not alone. In fact, the vast majority of survey respondents say their company's CIO has little to no communication with them.
