When examining the corporate world, one would quickly believe that Android wouldn't be one of the chosen platforms for the average CIO. After all, BlackBerry still appeals to the needs of the enterprise, and a growing number of companies are investing in iOS under the realization that it might be a smart move for them. One of the operating systems that CIOs are increasingly selecting is Android. Google's operating system might not seem like the ideal CIO platform, and in some ways, it isn't. But Android has won over CIOs around the globe. And many other CIOs are examining whether they should consider joining the Android family and investing in a high-end device, like the Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC One. If software is a barrier for some CIOs, it shouldn't be. The Google Play marketplace is filled with all types of high-quality applications that CIOs can benefit from each day.
