In November 2011, just 77 percent of respondents to a similar survey said that they would choose iPad as their company's next tablet.

In February 2011, 79 percent of respondents to a similar study said that they would be buying the iPad 2, rather than any other tablet on the market.

So, if they're not buying an iPad, which tablet will IT decision-makers choose for their employees? According to ChangeWave, 8 percent of respondents in the Feburary 2012 survey said they plan to buy Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets in 2Q 2012.

6 percent of respondents said that they'll be buying Amazon's Kindle Fire in 2Q 2012, putting it in third place behind the new iPad and Galaxy Tab.

Moving to wireless service, ChangeWave found that 30 percent of the companies surveyed indicated that they would be using AT&T for mobile connectivity on their tablets in 2Q 2012.

Verizon was the top choice among 29 percent of respondents who are planning to purchase tablets in 2Q 2012.

Only 4 percent of respondents said they plan to choose Sprint as the wireless network for their 2Q 2012 tablet purchases.

11 percent of respondents said that they won't be connecting tablets to wireless networks at all in 2Q 2012, choosing to go with WiFi-equipped models instead. It's unclear from the survey results what the remaining 26 percent of respondents plan to do to provide wireless connectivity for their tablets.
