Hiring talent with the right credentials requires significant compensation upgrades. For example, a typical project manager will earn about $104,000 a year, according to Dice.com reports. But one bearing a Project Management Professional certification will command an average of $120,000 a year. As part of its regular, monthly report, Dice.com also reveals the number of open IT jobs on its site (full and part-time opportunities) as of Feb. 1, 2012, as well as which metro areas in the U.S. offer the hottest prospects for job seekers.
