SAP updated its SAP NetWeaver platform with new features for in-memory computing, cloud computing, and mobility development.
SAP unveiled its updated SAP NetWeaver platform at SAP TechEd 2010 event in Berlin on Oct. 12. The company says it expects enterprises to use SAP NetWeaver to manage the dispersed environments associated with cloud infrastructure and mobile devices. NetWeaver can also be used to manage the processing requirements needed for sophisticated analytics.
Customers will be able to provide real-time analytics on SAP Business Suite, accelerate the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse component, and develop and deploy entirely new types of applications, according to SAP.
A core component of SAP's technology platform, SAP NetWeaver offer customers process integration and portal features.
