As companies face greater public scrutiny about performance, competitive advantage and customer service, directors recognize that technology solutions can help address these issues. Directors are also determined to sharpen their organization's strategic thinking and link executive compensation to performance. However, in today's global marketplace, you may be surprised to find out how few directors consider diversity a priority. To provide organizations with better guidance, PwC offers its Center for Board Governance as a resource for directors and audit committees for improved boardroom performance. A total of 860 public company directors took part in the research.
