Ten Qualities of 'Best and Brightest' Companies

Are you working for an organization that's considered top of the line? As a CIO, you have to sell your company to IT job candidates. And, as reported here in previous slideshows, the recruitment wars for top tech talent is only expected to grow intensely competitive. To focus on positive points you can promote during job interviews, the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has come up with the following 10 characteristics of great businesses. They were compiled after analyzing the results of its "Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" recognition program, which the NABR has conducted for more than a decade. Winners are selected based upon their innovative ability to demonstrate commitment to employees and launch "leading edge" HR practices. As for the 2013 awards, nominations are due on Feb. 1 and can be completed online at www.101bestandbrightest.com. In 2012, outstanding companies such as ADP, ImageSoft, Impact Networking, OpTech and Verizon Wireless were honored.
