Number 9: Put That Cell Phone Away  Smartphones might be getting people to do more while away from the office, but 10% of respondents say that they spend between one and two hours each day texting or talking on their handsets or texting.

Number 8: Social Engagements  Just beating calling and texting, 11% of employees spend between one and two hours each day on social networks, such as Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, instead of working.

Number 7: All That Time On the Road  Commuting is another major time waster. In fact, 13% of people say that they are traveling in their cars or using other modes of transportation for between one and two hours each day.

Number 6: The Standard Chitchat  The water cooler strikes again: 16% of people say they talk with each other in non-business-related conversations. What's worse is 90% of those people say they're spending two hours each day chatting with coworkers.

Number 5: Too Many Meetings, People  Enough with the meetings. According to 18% of workers, they're spending up to two hours per day in meetings.

Number 4: "I Really Don't Want to Do That Right Now"  Procrastination is a productivity killer. Just ask the 19% of people who say that they often procrastinate while in the office.

Number 3: Uh, You're Watching TV at Work?  26% of employees say that they're watching up to 2 hours of television at work each day. Even worse: 16% watch more than 2 hours of TV.

Number 2: What's In the News Today?  Surfing the Web is a major productivity killer, with 27% of respondents saying that they spend up to 2 hours each day checking out different sites.

Number 1: Better Answer Those E-mails  E-mail is a major hit for productivity. In fact, 33% of respondents say they spend between one and two hours e-mailing each day. Another 22% spend more than two hours a day responding to e-mails.
