HP continues its buying spree with acquisition of ArcSight, smartphone wars heat up with Android Android gaining on Apple's iOS, and Verizon and Sprint duke it out over 4G wireless. These are among the highlights of our week-in-review.

HP has acquired security firm ArcSight, but M&A activity is not the only news highlight this week. In the past seven days we have also seen the Android OS smartphone OS continue to steal market share, and Nokia steal a new CEO from Microsoft's executive ranks.
