Many companies are now adopting agile and DevOps processes, two IT-driven approaches that now considered “critical” for a successful digital transformation.

“Advanced” agile companies are reducing IT costs by 41%, compared with only a 33% reduction in IT costs at organizations considered at a “basic” agile level.

Advanced DevOps companies are improving the quality of their development processes and apps by 48%, compared with 36% improvements at organizations at a basic DevOps level.
Advanced agile companies are experiencing a 44% increase in business growth, while basic agile organizations achieved only a 33% increase in business growth.
Advanced agile organizations are achieving a 50% increase in employee productivity, compared with only a 41% spike at basic agile companies.
73% of respondents at companies using agile processes and 77% of those at organizations deploying DevOps said these efforts improve employee recruitment and retention.
