The majority of application development and delivery professionals deal with problems related to missed requirements on a regular basis, according to a commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Blueprint Software. The accompanying report, titled "The Impacts Of Missed Requirements In Agile Delivery and Practices That Can Reduce Them," reveals that these employees and managers find it difficult to keep up with new and changing requirements, as well as those which are unclear. Long documentation and approval processes—in addition to a lack of coordination among groups—aren't helping the situation. To address the issue, app pros are using analytics to get user feedback. They're also investing in better tech tools, while providing requirements and analysis training for team members. As a result, they expect improved business and IT alignment, along with greater customer satisfaction. A total of 100 U.S. application development and delivery professionals took part in the research.
