67% of business professionals are using text messaging to communicate for work-related reasons.
59% of respondents use their personal mobile phones frequently for business-related communications to colleagues, customers, prospects and vendors.

The research shows that a formal record of communication is still important, and 40% of respondents cite this as the reason why they don’t text for work matters.

As business-related text messaging becomes the norm, both employees and company IT departments must improve ways to manage this form of communication, according to the report.
70% of respondents say the ability consolidate business communications on one number would be very useful.
Professionals check their voicemail less frequently than one year ago with 31% of respondents saying they rarely use voicemail and 36% saying they rarely or never check their voicemails.
