Consumer Reports: With Accessory, iPhone Antenna Works

Consumer Reports engineers have found that Apple’s iPhone 4, when used with a rubber “bumper” that Apple sells for $29, do not have reception problems related to the smartphone’s antenna.

“Due to this problem, we can’t recommend the iPhone 4,” Consumer Reports’ Mike Gikas blogged July 12.
