The Seven Roles of Highly Effective CIOs

As part of its sweeping new report, “Grooming the 2010 CIO,” the Society for Information Management has identified seven key roles successful CIOs assume in the enterprise today. Not surprisingly, the CIO of 2010 will be more strategic than ever, focusing on leadership, collaboration and high-level process improvement, according to the C-level executives interviewed by SIM.
