The size of the IT workforce has topped 4 million for the first time ever. And, IT joblessness at 2.3 percent is near historic lows, and half of the overall unemployment rate. Low unemployment could explain why CIOs can't find enough qualified pros to fill positions. Yet, it doesn't explain why many IT veterans can't find well paying jobs. Where's the disconnect?
