Two months into the deployment of Workday HR. Copmany is rolling out
the Workday service to 7,000 employees in the Americas, and will then
consider a global rollout. Steve Phillips, CIO, is overseeing the
project. Phillips is also leading the company’s pilot Bring Your Own
Device program in which they will give employees an allowance to buy a
phone, email service, data and voice plan. They manage each device
using Good Technology software.

Chooses SAS Integrated Merchandise Planning, Size Optimization, Demand
Forecasting for Retail, Merchandise Financial Planning, and Merchandise
In-Season Management. Mike Laurenti, Chief Information Officer, was
involved in the selection.

Bimbo Bakeries USA

Bay Shore, NY

Implementing Solarwind’s Network Monitoring System.

Brown & Toland Medical Group

San Francisco, CA

Selected the Allscripts Community Record to deliver end-to-end
information connectivity for its 1,500 physicians serving 335,000 Bay
Area patients.

Charming Shoppes

Bensalem, PA

In the midst of replacing its Campaign Management platform with a Unica
platform, including Unica Campaign, Unica Optimize, Unica eMessage, and
Unica Interact.

Citrix

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Deployed Microsoft Virtual Server 2005. Dimitri Mundarain, Manager, Data
Center Operations oversaw the project. He also replaced Citrix’s SAP
global services with a fully redundant HP SuperDome complex, partitioned
with HPUX for the back end, and 64-bit Windows OS serving the
application thru a Citrix Presentation Server farm front end. In
addition, Mundarain oversaw a full data center relocation to a Tier-1
Network Access Point. 

City of San Francisco

San Francisco, CA

Will begin rolling out public Wi-Fi access along Market Street, from the
Castro district to the Ferry Building, in December. Jon Walton, Acting
CIO, is leading the initiative. The city also has developed a mobile app
that allows users to access content from sfgov.org on Android &
Apple smartphones. Ron Vinson, Director, Media IT, led this project.

Selected Descartes’ advanced telematics and driver compliance solutions to improve use of its mobile assets.

Department of Homeland Security

Washington, DC

Awarded ManTech a $5.9 million contract to provide systems engineering,
regulatory compliance, and testing services in support of the
congressionally mandated Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective
Technology Act of 2002.

Enbridge Gas Transportation / Enbridge Offshore

Houston, TX

Glenn Fullerton, Manager, Enterprise Architecture, is expanding social
media, integrated product suites and consumerization using Outlook,
Sharepoint, OCS, and Identity Management.

Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center

Danville, KY

Coleman James, IT Applications Analyst, is upgrading workstations from Windows 2000 to XP.

Exxon Mobil

Irving, TX

In a business process redesign and applications consolidation effort,
Richard Fordan, IT Project Manager, is leading a team to retire a legacy
mainframe-based financial application and migrate users to SAP ECC 6.0.

Kin Cook, Manager, IT Strategic Sourcing, is responsible for a
nationwide contract for consolidation of local telephony service lines.
Cook is also responsible for transitioning data center infrastructure,
servers, network and security systems to a new IBM facility. Multiple

Solutions, is responsible for this initiative.
