Citigroup announced plans on July 10 to build a Information Technology and Consumer Innovation Training Center in Blue Ash, Ohio, that it said will eventually employ up to 1,000 IT professionals.

The company intends to hire 400 tech professionals by the time the center opens in October of this year, and hopes to be up to 1,000 hires by June 2007. The facility will be located 12 miles outside Cincinnati.
